That doesn't mean a lot unfortunately. These are essentially on "Backorder". In other words there is no existing stock to cover the orders already placed. New orders are being put on the back burners so to speak.
Your existing order from the 5th October will probably be one of the first to be dispatched when EE get stock. Of course depending on what model, capacity and colour you went for will affect how many orders were placed (As most people go for the 128 / 256GB models, since the 512GB and 1TB models are very expensive), and as such will in turn affect how long it takes for one to be in stock to be delivered to you, as Apple are currently running at a limited production capacity due to the aforementioned factory walk out.
In my opinion and given my recent experience of Apple product launches, you will likely have to wait anywhere from 6 weeks to 2 months for delivery. So potentially you have another month wait at least I'd say. Possibly longer due to the stock issues as a result of the factory walk out.
