Was I lied to by the operator?

So I upgraded my phone today to the Sony Xperia 1 IV only because I was assured by the operator when I called 150 that it comes with the sony wh-1000xm4 headphones. But I have looked into it and apparently the offer has finished so why would the EE website app and operators still be promoting this?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone. You can call Freephone +44 800 079 8586 on Skype

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

I spoke to someone on 150 and was informed that there is clearly picture of the headphones on the EE website and my original call would have been recorded so I should still get them apparently.
