Hi,
I placed an order for an upgrade on call with one of the agents of EE. However, I have no confirmation email from them saying my order has been processed or anything. I did call their customer service regarding this and they said they send an email once the phone has been dispatched. Does this mean that my upgrade has been approved? Is this a normal routine?

Welcome to the community,
If you order had not been approved, then you would have heard from EE, the same goes if they need anymore information from you.
You will receive notification from DPD once the order has been dispatched, the evening before delivery and another one on the day of delivery with a one hour window.

Contact the upgrade team and make sure there isn't a typo in the email address, they are human after all.
I thought the email went out when the order was placed, the new plan only kicks in when the device is despatched.
I could be wrong, no harm in checking though

Download the DPD app my order showed in the app before email notification from EE or DPD

Thanks for getting back to me. So, is the email only sent out when the phone is dispatched? I thought there would be an email from EE after my upgrade was done.

Can you check your junk/spam folders for an email?
DPD would text you when your order is ready for delivery.
