I received a text message saying my order is on track. What does this mean?

I preordered the iPhone 14 Pro Max before release date and its given me and estimated date of 2 weeks time. Much later after release date. I received a text earlier saying my order is on track but the dates are still the same. Can anyone help? Does this mean it’s coming sooner or it’s still coming in a couple weeks?
