My EE says I am not the account holder

My EE account says I don't have the authority to change things and I should contact the account holder but I am the account holder, please help?

If you call customer services on 150 they will be able to change your MyEE account settings.

I had this issue in2020. I called EE and they said they’d sort it. I go in now to renew my contract and I’m still not showing as the account holder. I’ve been with Orange/EE for 25 years with the same number and they still screw up.

@Silvermane  it’s your account that you setup on whether you are the account holder or account user.    You can change that yourself.    

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

It’s always been my account and I’ve always been the bill payer. It’s never been set up or had any contact to anyone else.

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

 

If you're the account holder, you can switch from user to bill payer in My EE. Just go to Account settings > Manage numbers.

'Account Settings' doesn't even appear for me, It's seemingly non-existent. I'm not sure why this is an issue in the first place. 3 is a much better phone service, I regret joining EE.

This is beyond ludicrous now EE..the old app was way better and more straightforward.
