Hi community
I recently placed an upgrade order for the iPhone 17 pro max in silver 256GB and to trade in my old device, side note: it didn’t say anywhere that it was for pre order, if I knew it was for pre order I probably wouldn’t have ordered it in the first place. The morning after I placed my order I received an update saying that there was an issue with my order. I naturally went onto my EE app and spoke to someone to get this sorted, it turned out that the issue was to do with my trade in that the discount hadn’t been applied, so nothing to do with my new phone. Once this issue was sorted i received an email confirmation. Since then I haven’t had any updates. I’ve been on the online chat and all they could offer is a different phone that could be sent next day or to ad an extra onto my plan free of charge, which neither of them suited me.
could anyone help with my situation, can’t seem to find any straight forward answers anywhere

I'm sorry to hear you were left confused after speaking to someone about your order. That particular model has a over time of more than 28 days so you may not receive an update for a while.
If you are not happy to wait, then as the team suggested, you could go for another model that has less of a wait time.
