Tried upgrading my simo to a handset but the employee 30% off code won’t work. Any help? Also doesn’t even give a discount without the code which it should as an additional line.

Hi @Username5025

Thanks for coming here.

Are you out of contract for this number?

No.

Thanks @Username5025

You would need to be out of contract and eligible to upgrade to use the code. If you would like further details, please contact the rewards team.

I’m eligible for an upgrade. I currently have discount on a simo but can’t carry it over onto a handset plan. What an absolute joke. It’s cheaper for me to go with another company but carrying on paying my sim plan. Meaning EE go out of pocket.

Hi @Username5025

Once the contract has ended you can apply the code, the terms and conditions advise you would need to be out of contract for the upgrade.

Ok thanks for the reply. It’s off to Sky for me. Works out cheaper having two contracts. Bizarre. Talk about shooting themselves in the foot. I also find it ridiculous you can’t have an upgrade at any time with a simo plan. Why the hell do you have to wait?  That’s two handsets I’m taking elsewhere that’s working out cheaper. Just because of ridiculous rules.
