EE Employee Error

Ordered an AppleWatch on 17th  what I requested and thought I was getting was the Titanium 46mm L strap in Black. Order expected 21st so really happy it arrived day early. What I got was 42mm Aluminium S/M strap in Black.

The screen share order he used the gold with the correct details but claimed that was because he couldn’t find the correct option. But the specifics were right.

During the order he said he had to rebuild my package, he has put my upgrade on a friends and family which also means it doesn’t share my phone number. How does an Employee get it so wrong but in is the customer greatly inconvenienced with no way to fix it when essentially we are supposed to be “loyal” customers. I’ve been with EE possibly 19 years and struggling to see the benefits when I never get deals etc… never been too bothered but go above and beyond to fix the inconvenience for what is clearly an Employee error.

Hi @AngryCustome72

Welcome to the community.

I'm really sorry to hear that there was a problem with your order. Have you spoken with our customer care team since, to try and get this resolved?

Every time I speak to someone new it’s something the previous person hasn’t done, ie… whilst the one rep tried to resolve, she didn’t initiate return, the second initiated return, the third initiated complaint…. Like where is the employee that gets it right from start to finish…you can’t even directly contact and verbally speak to your own credit section to see if you can  put in place a solution to rectify employee errors that impact the customer….the customer has to sit and wait and drag their behind through a system where they didn’t create any of the problem.

Thanks for explaining, @AngryCustome72

Now that there's a complaint open on your account, it should be handled until there's a resolution.

Please keep us updated on what happens.
