So my phone is arriving today the first text said I needed the delivery pin the second text told me the driver name and time slot, but no pin, I’m in Northern Ireland and it seems to be comming from dpd Ireland as opposed to dpd uk, where exactly am I supposed to get this pin to give the driver?

It’s also worth pointing out that the dpd app also doesn’t work in Northern Ireland and simply won’t accept out postcodes so I’ve no way to get the pin

Update driver arrived didn’t even require a signature,

speaking to a girl from dpd that doesn’t seem to understand Northern Ireland is part of the uk on CS was very frustrating.

but asking the driver dpd do not support pins in Northern Ireland and will not ask for a signature or photo ID

EE could do with updating their advice as they neglect this entirely

Hi @Itconor

Thanks for the feedback, I'll see if I can pass this on to the relevant team internally.

Did your delivery go through OK in the end?

Chris

It did thankfully, local delivery driver confirmed that DPD basically don’t exist here and it’s just contracted drivers in white vans. So no pins no signed for no ID checking in Northern Ireland, the docs and support scripts should really be updated to reflect this, spent some time on the phone trying to get a pin that never existed. The initial text from EE said I needed a pin and the EE customer rep on the phone also said I needed a pin that she couldn’t help me with and I should phone DPD, meanwhile DPD said to phone EE.

so some training and updated help around your northern Irish customers would go a long way.
