Pre order placed on 06/10/2023. Item is now released and has been for a while. Do I have my order? NO. People at EE promise big things and you get nothing. Do not trust them. They have given me either incorrect information or someone lied. Either way I have my calls recorded I suggest other people do the same. I am taking take time out of my weekend to let people know. Honestly do not trust them. My contact ends early next year for one of my phones, will be glad to say bye to them. My other contact for my partner has a bit longer but honestly cannot wait to leave. No one from the EE staff please contact me. This post is to warn any potential new customers to stay clear. EE has messaged me a few times and then never followed up so please don’t bother contacting me again as I am bored of it now.

@Peterb14 And you don’t say what you ordered ? And a pre order isn’t a guarantee to receive a device on launch day or just after and that’s simply because the amount of orders could strip out the amount of devices that EE receive.

You are absolutely correct that a pre order does not guarantee it on release date but almost a month after it has been released and nothing. The lack of communication and honesty from every single staff is atrocious. People on this community channel even contacted me to say that they would get someone to reach out that never happened. I want people to realise that EE does not deliver on promises they make. It’s funny they join with BT on a number of products and all of sudden they lose customer service skill? Hopefully lots of people read this and take into account that a customer who has been with them for 5 years is now once and for all sick of EE.

And I’v been a customer since 2007 and not had an issue like you speak of so what does that tell you not to mention anyone else reading this thread who might be considering joining EE.
And it’s not just cellular I’ve got with EE it’s also my broadband and I had this just around 5 years with no issues.
Never had an issue with customer services, I’ve had call backs when requested, I’ve had all live chat transcripts sent to me when I was asked for them. All contracts have been read before I agreed to them and I not was rushed to sign anything. This is in store or via calling. Not had any issues what’s so ever with anyone within EE.

EE have been owed by BT since 2016.

Thanks for the response Chris. As confirmed on my many posts. I have chats and call recordings of people providing me incorrect information and also promising things that just never actually happen. It’s almost kind of funny the lack of service. My opinion is my opinion and just that. I am sure that my post will hit the right chord with people who don’t want to waste time on getting something as trivial as a mobile provider and so will hopefully steer clear of EE as it’s really not worth the hassle.
