Delivery, no DPD code?

I ordered an Apple Watch to pay off monthly on Monday, I got a text from EE this morning to track my delivery but I didn’t receive a PIN code. I contacted EE on 150 and they said they added special instruction to send the code to my phone number because the number they provided DPD was my old number which I no longer have access to. 

The driver attempted delivery and I explained the situation but the number showing up for him to resend was the old number. He said they would attempt delivery again tomorrow. 

I still haven’t received the PIN code and I’m not sure what to do, should I wait until they attempt delivery and see if i receive tomorrow or do I contact EE again, is there anything they can do?

The text was a link to tracking but the pin didn’t show up like it has with previous orders. I called again and it got sorted, the pin is now showing up with tracking details so hopefully delivery works out tomorrow, thank you!

Thanks for visiting the EE Community 

The text you received, was that a link to the DPD website/app for tracking? As typically the PIN number would show up there also.

I would give us another call to make sure the contact number has been updated as regardless of an instruction the driver will be locked into sending to the set contact number. 

When changing the contact number delivery should be changed to next day anyway to allow it to update. So it may have already been changed this morning but not in time for delivery today. But if you call they can check in the DPD portal and confirm which number is set as contact number and change if needed for the re-delivery attempt.

I have the exact same issue, code was sent to the wrong number and AirPods can’t be delivered

Welcome to the community.

If the PIN is not being received due to it being sent to the wrong number, please give our customer service guides a call.

They'll be able to bring up the order and amend the contact number with DPD so that you can receive the PIN for the delivery.

Hi Michael 

On the IVR there is no option for my query and unable to talk to a human. The guides don’t help me get a code as I can’t talk to anyone 

can someone call me so I can get this resolved
