Hello everyone,
Dpd tried to deliver two parcels today, a watch and some earphones, it seems a pin was required, which I did not have. I logged onto the DPD app and it said there was some problem tracking the parcle (which irritatingly I had in my hand)
I logged into EE and something very odd - the mobile number for the profile is one number wrong... But here's the odd thing...
1. I received sms from EE saying about 2 factor etc, and used codes to login, order etc.
2. When I tried to change my number it went a code to me (despite the number being wrong!) then again when I had changed the number.
So my assumption is the number dpd has is wrong, which is why I didn't get a pin. I tried to call We but every number seems to want me to enter my EE mobile number, which I don't have as it's not my network.
So, how can I address this and get my two parcles?! Any ideas much appreciated, super frustrating and confusing!
Thanks

Hi @OsAddict
You can track all orders our Track Your Order page, but it's important to ensure your contact details are kept up to date before placing any orders.
You'll need to get in touch with out Electronics Team so they can update your contact number.

I rather suspect your suspicions as to the underlying issues here, are entirely correct. I'm also fairly sure that once a contact number is embedded into an order, it can't be changed. Although you do make (what seems to potentially be) two contradictory statements - which may yet help ID where the issue is - you say "I logged into EE" but also refer to not having an EE mobile number "as it's not my network"
And if that's the case, your only option will be to wait for the order to return-to-sender or invoke 14day distance-selling cancellation yourself.
And then re-order, being sure to check the contact number is correct.

Sorry, I meant I logged into the EE 'Tech and Gaming' website - much like you'd login to Currys, AO etc, just as an electrical retailer, not a mobile network.

Does anyone have a number I can call to at lest try? All the ones I had seemed specific to the mobile network side of things as opposed to 'electronics shop'?
