Delayed Delivery

Hi i ordered a google 6a on Monday to be delivered to my local ee shop, sent txt by dpd on Wednesday morning saying it was out for delivery, by 6pm had another txt saying it was delayed, its now friday and nothing, tracking won't work and i can get any more information, its obviously a xmas present so any help would be appreciated.

Have you checked with the store to see if it has been delivered there?

Are you able to track on the DPD app?

I will check with the store, no tracking at all on dpd just a your parcel has been delayed msg, thanks.

Same thing has just happened to me with a new Smartwatch being delivered by DPD. Tracking information was sporadic and every now and again, I'd get a message saying it was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances (not sure how Christmas can be unforeseen....). I called EE and they opened a case and contacted DPD from there. DPD contacted me to say it would be delivered the following day - it wasn't and I was about to contact EE again when it finally turned up. Took 6 days in all. If you look at DPDs Customer Satisfaction Score, it is appalling. EE may want to look at changing their delivery partner. Hope it turns up soon.
