Changing delivery address on an existing pre-order

Hi, I'm looking for some advice before I call EE tomorrow.

I currently have a limited-edition Xbox console pre-ordered through EE. The order isn't due for delivery until November, but I realised the delivery address on the order needs to be changed.

The console is now out of stock, so cancelling the order and placing a new one isn't an option as I'd lose my existing pre-order.

Has anyone here successfully had EE change the delivery address on an existing pre-order without cancelling it?

I'm going to call customer services tomorrow when I have time, but I'd like to know how likely it is that they can manually change the address or pass it to the relevant orders team.

Welcome to the community.

It would be best to give our team a call to see if they can amend the address. Some orders may be able to be amended depending on how the order is placed, but at others may need to be cancelled and placed again, which would then put you to the bottom of the list for pre-orders.

If they can't change it without cancelling the order, they'll let you know your options.
