"EE Perks" discount code not being accepted?

Hi,

I am trying to get a new SIM only contract with an EE Perks discount code (via my work). However none of the SIM only plans accept it! It just says:

Code entered is not applicable with this data plan. Please beware that certain codes aren't applicable if discounts are already applied.

These SIM only plans are not discounted (£48 a month!) so does anyone know what the issue is please?

I seem to be having the same problem. For what it's worth I've had this problem every time I've tried to use a perks code, but usually I can phone up and the Customer Service person will add the code for me over the phone. This time I have been told they are no longer allowed to do this, and I must keep trying different browsers until it works! This hasn't happened yet 😞

Apparently is is discounted I have learnt from one of the Customer
Service people, - it's not obvious though. In the end I have gone for
this £18 plan I was trying to use a perk on as it does what I want and
is cheaper than any of the plans where I can use my perk.

It seems that all of the ones suggested on the page that you are sent to
cannot be used with perks. Could it be fed back that it would be nice to
be able to see which plans can be used with perks up front and which are
already discounted so people can then make an informed choice, and not
have to get Customer Services involved.

The guy I spoke to was able to get me a second line discount on my
tablet plan, so the total of £32 was much better than the £42 I had been
paying, even without my perk.
