iPad 20% Perk

Just after a bit of info if possible. Looking to possibly get an iPad added to contract and have a 20% perk code. Aware can’t use codes on apple watches but does anyone know if ok to use on iPad purchase? Have tried to put the code in at checkout but keeps saying code invalid. I assume this is because there is a discount for a second device for 10% and understand can’t have 2 discounts at once. Main questions are if a code can be used for iPad purchase and secondly if so can the 10% additional line discount be removed and replaced with the 20% perk? Thanks in advance for any replies.

The perk terms and conditions do advise, the discount is available on pay monthly phone, eligible SIM only or mobile broadband plans.

Tablet plans which are 24 months are eligible for EE Perk.
