ee 20% perks

hi i was just wondering when your 20% perk should start coming of your bill ? as i got 2 new phones and was told to ring back the day after which i did to add them,i was told they won’t show on my first bill which they haven’t but i’ve just read that they should discount straight away on your first bill was just wondering is this correct?

Your discount would only be on your first bill if you redeemed your code at the time of your purchase.

When adding the discount at a later date, it may not be actioned in time for your first bill.
