Using Perk Code For Upgrade Not Working June 2026

Hi,

I am unable to apply a perk discount for a much needed upgrade to the 'Unlimited Full Works' plan as I am now out of contract.

My sibling has had the same process of adding the code last year and it worked for them for the same plan, but for me it says invalid code and even for a newly generated code as well. I have tried both my EE app and ee.co.uk online.

Please could somebody help me, it's quite frustrating.

Thank you.

Hey there, @K_Singh

This change around discounts on All Rounder and Full Works SIM Only plans came into effect in May this year.

Customers with an existing discount on these plans will continue to receive it until they choose to upgrade, and it's still available on Full Works and All Rounder plans that include a handset, as well as FlexPay airtime.

If it's either just a sim only or part of a handset plan but already discounted the perk code is not valid with it

Hi,

Thank you for your reply to my query.

Do you know when this rule came into effect for sim-only plans?

Reason I ask is my sibling not too long ago used the perk discount on the ultimate works plan which did not have any discounts attached to the plan.

There are no discounts currently for the ultimate works plan which I am trying to fulfil my perks discount to. I am really frustrated and disappointed as I really like EE and I need that particular plan for my day to day life as I work for the NHS and need good coverage that is uncapped.

Many thanks.
