TNT Sports on discovery plus when already have Discovery plus through sky

Hi,

I recently upgraded my phone and chose TNT sports as an inclusive extra. I can access this via discovery plus on my internet browser. However, when I try to access it via discovery plus app on my tv, I only have the basic version of discovery plus so no TNT sport. I think this is because as a sky tv customer I get basic discovery plus included. ANy idead how I can resolve this so I can get the version that gives me TNT?

Hi. Just to update my previous post. After 2 days I now have access to TNT Sport via Discovery+ on Sky after 2 days! I didn't need the fire stick. Maybe it's just a bit of a waiting game. Hope this helps someone.

I just activated my TNT sports on Discovery+ smart benefit
I already had Discovery+ on my Sky Glass. After activating it I can access TNT sports through the Discovery+ app on the Glass TV, but not through the Sky program guide (It says I need the right subscription)

I can live with the fact that I need to open the Discovery+ app to watch the channels, as it saves quite a bit of money using the free EE smart benefit.

When I look in my Discovery+ account I can actually see this now:

It looks like discovery just stacks the subscriptions and gives access to the subscription that has the biggest offering.

Can I ask.  I have tnt sports through ee and have registered it.   When I go onto my sky and open the discovery plus app, it automatically has me signed I through sky.   I can’t find anywhere to sign out of the sky one so I can access my ee/tnt details so I can watch the sports.    When I go on my phone, it shows (like above) that I have discovery through sky and ee.

Trisha14. It took about 48 hours for me to get it on my TV via Discovery+. I had it on my phone and Tabket straight away. Just a waiting game. After 48 hours maybe try logging out of Disco+ on Sky and logging in again so it can update. You shouldn't have to do it, but worth a try.

I am just looking-to do that. So you activated the ee benefit using the same email address as your sky email? I don’t  have a problem just having to access tnt via the app on sky via the discovery plus but would prefer to not have to change outputs and watch via smart tv if i don’t have to.was just slightly concerned as my discovery plus account seems to now indicated managed by sky and wondered if they were stopping people doing this?
wouldn’t have to if i5 wasnt so expensive! I can’t really find anything i would want to watch on discovery other than the football and £30 is way too much for the amount of coverage they do.

If you look at the screenshot below:

I suspect what you see currently is the bottom part, where it says discovery+ via Sky. This is what it said on my end first.
Then when I added the EE benefit it just put the top one on top, where it says discovery+ via EE.

For functionality, on my Sky stream I just start the Discovery+ app and it will allow me to watch TNT, but it does not sync with the normal Sky channels so they still say I don't have the right subscription.

Seems to work without issue
