Roaming pass

I’ve taken out a Roaming Pass to use while we’re in Australia. I don’t want it to start until 20/12/2022 and I want it to finish a month later

Hi @Wilcox33,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

Was it the Roam Abroad Pass you purchased?

It will start from when you bought it which you've already done.

The Roam Abroad Pass is charged pro-rata from the day you order it (text ROAMING PASS to 150) to the day you cancel it (text STOP ROAMING PASS to 150). You do start by paying up to the next bill date. Then in the billing month you cancel it you will get a rebate for the days after you cancel.

Hi @Wilcox33

Are you paying for the roaming pass (as in it's not an included smart benefit of your plan).

If so, if you've bought it as an add on, it will take effect from the point you've bought it so you'll already be paying.

If you don't need it until the 20th December, you'd have been better ordering it then.

As a side note, it may be worth texting ROAMING to 150 to ensure the roaming service is set up on your account. This can be done any time.

Yes
