I am visiting Australia from the UK and sent ROAMING PASS to 150 after arriving into Oz. I have received the text saying it has been activated and my network selection is set to automatic. Why is my data roaming not working? I cannot access any data services eg internet, Apple Maps etc. can anybody please help?

The Roaming Abroad pass is just a billing add-on. It doesn't enable your ability to roam abroad. For that you needed to have texted ROAMING to 150 before you left the UK to ensure roaming is enabled on your account. If you didn't you now need to call CS to have it enabled.
