Nitro V15 Acer Gaming Laptop - how to uninstall Planet 9 ?

it won't let me uninstall planet 9!  i have been trying to figure out for ages what is overheating and crashing my laptop, and it seems to be planet 9, and it seems to be a common thing with these.  it just won't let me uninstall it.  anyone else come across this?
