I finally decided to take the plunge and upgrade my phone - I have been an ee customer with phones for all the family. Extremely disappointed with customer service who missold me the contract. I was informed that I could have BT sports as an add on instead of paying £15 which I had been doing previously. Tried to use BT sports and could no longer use the ap on my TV. Phone them up to be shouted at and told that I was informed I could only use it on my device. I mean seriously who wants to watch football on a phone and not a TV! I was told I had to pay an extra £5 to use the TV app - so why was I told I could have the same service as before?! This isn't the same. I asked t speak to a manager and they put me on the phone with the person who sold me the contract who pretended to be the manager!
Overall a shady service who are doing ee a misjustice for their individual benefit. So sad to see the service go downhill. Please be honest and upfront as we are in a cost of living crisis. I could cancel my contract as I'm still ony a few days in but they know many people will not do that. I like ee as a company but suggest you get honest staff.

When my contract is up i am off. I was on PAYG at first and decided to bin sky BB and move it all to EE. When doing an online checker i was to get 60meg. Next day i get a call from EE trying to get me to sign up now for this fantastic deal. The guy was way to pushy for my liking and when i told him i was just making an enquiry and not signing up now he could be no more ruder if he tried. TBH had he spoke like that to my face i would have put one on his chin. Anyway a few month later i did change my phone to Sim only then the wife came over to EE also then the BB as it was discounted since we had sim contracts. 60meg was good for the first three month and now its more like 40. Got full fibre coming to my town in 12 month and then EE will be put in the gutter along with sky.

Same here, I've started paying the extra £5. But not happy with ee or bt and when my contract is up I'm going to leave bt and ee.

If you want to watch BT Sport on the big screen, then that is extra, not sure why you were not told that, not sure why £15, unless it has gone up, as it used to be £5 extra if you have one or more smart add-ons with your contract. It is called ultimate BT Sport.

@Jfw1 , does your plan include a smart benefit? If it does then it is £5 to watch on TV, if not then it will be £15.

I just picked one offering the service on Facebook marketplace. You get your own firestick and they send you a link to the app once you pay your fee. Element of trust but its not a scam. All sports, film etc
