EE contacted me to offer a deal on a watch or WiFi. They began by thanking me for being a customer for nine years and mentioned that I was eligible for a special offer.
I decided to go with a Garmin watch, but the representative immediately claimed, "Garmin is bad; they were bought by Samsung and are now outdated."—a blatant lie meant to push me toward the Samsung Watch7, which she promoted at least three times within our brief two-minute conversation.
Then came the pricing. The watch is listed on their website for £15.50 per month, yet my exclusive loyalty price was £24.50.
So, as a "valued customer", I was fed misinformation and offered a worse deal while it was pushed on me I was saving over £100 on the deal..
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Thanks @D3wiCol3man. That one isn't from EE directly, but it is one of our Direct Partners who would be calling on our behalf, so they should be giving you correct details. I will get that passed on.
If you are inside the first 14 days and wanted to cancel the watch, you can complete our returns form, and when it is received and cancelled, any charges would be refunded. There is more on returns on our Return a device or SIM bought within the last 14 days.

@D3wiCol3man EE contacted you ! Can you 100% prove it was EE ? You do know how scammers pretend to be someone/company they’re not. They call you pretending to be blah blah blah and you provide the information they need to access your account.
I’ve never known EE to cold call a customer to sell a product.
What account information did you provide?

Yes, it was definitely EE. I went through the full verification process, received confirmation emails from EE, and the watch arrived with the standard EE welcome package. It’s also linked to my EE account and appears in my app—so there’s no doubt it was them.
Looking into it further, I’m being charged the same as I would for the Samsung Ultra Watch, despite getting the lower-tier Watch7 AND being told this was a deal saving me £100+. On top of that, the salesperson outright lied, claiming Garmin was bought by Samsung to push me toward this watch.

@D3wiCol3man EE don’t sell Garmin watches so you’ll not got one for a start. If you’re not happy you get a 14 day cooling off period from when you got the watch.

That's incorrect as they have 6 showing up if you type Garmin EE on Google.
Eitherway even if they sold no Garmins, the fact the sales person said Garmin was bought by Samsung to get me to buy the Samsung is a scam and a lie
And the connotation that being scammed and lied to is fine because you have time to send it back really shows the poor customer service provided by EE.. what a joke

Hi @D3wiCol3man
I can understand your frustration at what you have been told. We would expect our sales team or anyone calling on our behalf to be honest.
When was it you received the call? Do you have the number that called you so I can check if it was EE directly?
As @Chris_B mentioned, we don't sell Garmin watches on a contract. The ones you have seen online are available to purchase outright from the EE Store.

Hello,
Yes the number is 0191 816 3862 (EE).
The call was on Thursday at 12:01
The watch was added to my plan, I was charged already (after being told it would be on the next bill) I tried to cancel through EE app and was told I would not be refunded the month payment..

I tried to take advantage of the watch 7 for £5 a month offer after buying the s25 ultra, only to be told it would be £26 a month, when I said about the £5 a month watchnoffer I was told they were out if stock.
I said to the CS rep, but you have just added the watch and 4gb plan to my account?
To which he answered, no.
Between that and the free buds offer which I haven't received was told to wait 28 days for the claim text and the fact I've had no signal in my area where I live since the contract went live, I'm beginning to think I should have went elsewhere.
Seems EE pull you in with offers only to tell you they are 'out if stock' or arnt eligible?
Oh and since the convo with the CS rep I've since had emails telling me I don't have long to take advantage if the watch offer, which actually states "Just add any watch and 4gb plan to your account and you'll only be charged £5 a month"
When I try its trying to charge the full amount.

@MrFahrenheit , If you have broadband, you can connect using wifi calling, which works the same as if using data, that is why wifi calling is available in settings.
