Hi All,
I received this. Looks legitimate, and I’ve just taken out new lines in addition to my existing one and got broadband with EE too, so it is possible it is real, but is it? Or is it a scam?
Thanks,
Luke

@LukeK1 That’s legit. That’s a great price as it’s usually £27.
Check out the T&Cs first though.

Thanks very much. Wondered it could be real. As I said, have got a lot of stuff from them recently, but this did seem a bit too good.
How can you tell it’s real please (so I’m not so cynical next time)?
Thanks again,
Luke

It's a typical EE wording that links you to a pukka EE webpage & not a fake 1 pretending to be EE.

Hi there @LukeK1
I can see you've had some great advice, for the text you have received from EE for the unlimited data offer.
It's good to be cautious, for help on what may be a scam text please see our Prevent scams including phishing, vishing and smishing, Help page. EE will never ask you for your PIN or password via email or text 🙂
Have a lovely weekend.
Leanne.

Hi All,
So I had a look at the terms and this is legit, but it looks like it is actually a monthly add on, so you pay that amount in addition to your current plan. I was only interested as it appeared to be a substantial reduction on what I’m paying for a 160gb per month plan, so not for me, but hope helpful for others.
Not sure if the wording was deliberately ambiguous - it doesn’t refer to add ons - but it did appear too good to be true. Turns out it was.
Thanks again all,
Luke

Hi @LukeK1
Thanks for posting, this will be helpful to others.
Yes, the unlimited data is an additional add-on separate from your phone plan.
Have a lovely weekend.
Leanne 🙂
