I’m trying to buy a PlayStation and it keeps redirecting me to ‘join the community’ because I don’t have a broadband or phone with EE, but when I come over to the community it doesn’t update it on the other end which I need it to do in order to buy a PS5….

Becase you need to be an EE customer. 

"You can only get a PlayStation 5 on EE if you’re an existing customer, so if you haven’t joined up and experienced our superfast 5G network yet, then you’ll need to do this first."
