Honor Magic V3 Bang & Olufsen Headphones.

Been trying to apply for my free headphones for a few days now the redemption website is a complete joke . The furthest I've gotten is my phone number which after repeated attempts would not accept as a UK number absolutely ridiculous. Now when I enter my IMEI  number it says not recognised or falls outside date which is of course totally wrong any ideas. Ohhh and you click contact us web page error 500 useless.

Have you tried using an alternative browser? Usually Chrome or Firefox work best for these scenarios.

Hi @Pete1000,

Sorry to hear you are having issues using the Honor website, have you tried using a different browser and device to see if there is any difference? And clearing the cookies and cache for the website from your current browser? 

Is it this page you are having an issue loading to contact them on? Honor Redemption | Register your IMEI code

I've managed to get to the point where I am supposed to upload my proof of purchase but it just will not upload. And any attempt to access help on the Honour did is just let with a 500 error. Ridiculous.

Just done mine with the link supplied above by Alex. Honor redemption website. On chrome and on the honor magic V3 had no issues at all.

its disappointing to see this is regarded as a solution that if we are stuck to redeeming a product all ee do is provide us an e-mail with the manufacturer, next time around I will be very hesitant taking up these deal, last time it was a lot smoother, the additional products came with the phone no extra steps required ,

side note the honor website still doesn't seem to be working, had to email them as well lets see how it progresses

@MrBlu3   No free gift comes with the device on the simple fact you could return the device under the 14 day cooling off period and keep the free gift.  And in this case as the gift is also a promotion from Honour not EE and they are fulfilling the gift its them who you contract if you have issues claiming the promotional offer as the gift has nothing to do with EE.  After all it’s Honours website you’re using to claim the gift.

 

What are you expecting EE do to when it’s the customer who has to claim the offer from the manufacturer via the method that manufacturer has setup.   At least a email address has been provided to help a customer claim a promotional offer that has nothing to do with EE

i wish there was a dislike button lol when I purchased the Samsung fold 4 2 years ago they gave the buds and a special case with the product, no extra admin, no extra wait time, and none of this millaracy and faffing about with 100 and ten pieces of documents.
If the suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors, don't wanna give free stuff with their products that's their choice (inc ee, Samsung, honor etc they are literally partners in this sale), if they are, it should be as smooth as possible,

if they have issues with certain customers returning said product but keeping "free" items, it should only be able to be returned with all attachments so penalise them and not us who are willing to keep said product and doing 2 cents scams

@MrBlu3   What manufacturers do with free gifts and how to claim that gift is down to that manufacturer.   So not sure what your actual problem is ?  There are more none issues with these then they are issues when claiming a free gift,   People don’t come here to say it went well they come here when they have an issue claiming.   

 

And no manufacturer has to offer any free gift with any product.  But then again it’s how they entice people to purchase their products because they probably will not sell as many without a free gift.  

 Why should a gift ship at the same time as the device ?  How many free gifts should be sent to a network to ship when the offer is for a set period of time ?     Put it like this a network could get 200 devices with a free gifts so that’s 200 free gifts.   What happens if only 100 devices sell in the promotion period.  Who’s going to cover the cost of the remaining free gifts as the promotion period which is stated by the manufacturer is for a set period of time.      The manufacturer doesn’t want to pay out more than it has to and it doesn’t when you have to claim a free gift.  

   If I remember correctly when you ordered your fold  it had to be preordered before a set date to get that free gift so it was sent with the device.     Any orders after that set date didn’t get it.    It’s how Samsung get orders in.  

It’s even on the EE website for this device on how you claim for a free gift.
