Family and friends code not working?

Hi,

I received a code from a friend with the 50% off sim only. I wanted to get the unlimited essentials sim that is £23 but it keeps saying that the code is invalid.

Please help, thank you.

The code was listed below but removed it but it seems that my friend cannot remove the code?

Was the SIM Only plan that you were trying to take discounted already or showing it was an offer?
