EE TnT/discovery plus subscription renewal

Hello all

I have an add on for TNT and/or discovery plus, which I use fairly regularly (so issue isn't due to not using it) and have done so for surely over a year. It is is still an add on on my contract, as part of BT sport, because that was what the app was when I got my contract. Suddenly I get a email from google playstore saying my subscription has been cancelled, with no reason given and no option to resubscribe. I log into my discovery plus account, and then it says I have to go through EE, there is an option to resubscribe, but if I click it, it doesn't give me the page to actually go through with the payment, it just says "thanks!" or something to that degree. It also says to change anything about my subscription I have to go through EE. So to delete my account I would have had to go through many hurdles, none of which I have done. EE themselves offer no answer, or indicate anything has changed, the only options I can do is cancel TnT (ironically) or swap it for a different add on. 

Is there any chance add ons expire? There is no helpful q&a in any of the 3 websites involved, I assume because they would not expect anyone to actively want to resubscribe to a 60 quid a month sports service. Does it automatically create another yearly subscription once this one is cancelled (cancellation date named at 23/05/2025). Whilst there is a significant chance I am being stupid and missing something under my nose, I believe I have looked at all potential answers with absolutely nothing telling me anything other than it is being cancelled. 

Can anyone help, experienced it before? or tell me what I am missing? thank you

As a detail ive recently remembered. I am indeed out of contract, but still willfully paying, and have been out of contract for 4 soon to be 5 months (its last day of the 4th month let me say 5) And I highly doubt a company that charges their customers 60 quid a month would let them get it for 5 months on the cheap if it was only allowed via a contract. 

 

@jamesramullin , contracts do not end, just the minimum term , your contract will continue until you decide to upgrade or move to another network or cancel.

Indeed, that is what i thought. So why would my inclusive extra, TNT sport/discovery plus, be cancelled then? it has not given me a reason

@jamesramullin ,  I would suggest speaking to customer service, they can take a look for you.
