I get told I am eligible, then when I try to activate I get error WB402. Long live chat with BT and they couldn't help. Any ideas?

Poor is the only word for this.
It seems to me that the ‘solution’ if there is no fix or a date for one, especially given this is now one company, would be for BT to grant direct access to Discovery+ for anyone with an EE inclusive sports extra.
It would help from a customer perspective if EE at least acknowledged there are known issues and were able to report back on them.

Yes TNT Sports is showing as my inclusive extra.
Texting SPORT to 150 gives me this:
And when I click that link to try and activate I get this:
I’ve already spent an entire afternoon on the phone to EE, BT and Discovery, each of which told me I needed to speak to the others. It’s a disgrace.

Could you try copying the link and opening this in a different browser, does the activation work for you?
Leanne.

Tried different browser, got the below. Which is another way of saying "no it doesn't work and we've no idea why"

Thanks for trying @RichWebb
This will need reported again to our technical support team on 150, they can get this fully investigated and raise a support ticket if needed.
Leanne.

Yeah I've already wasted an entire afternoon doing that, and managed to establish that no one at EE has any idea why this is happening. So I don't see the point of wasting more of my valuable time. I'll just continue paying every month for something that doesn't work and miss half the football season thanks to EE's incompetence. Thanks for that.

Also - do I really have to keep being told "Yay!" I've won a bloody badge?! I'm not 5 years old.

Sorry Rich you are probably bored of replying after so much hassle, I’ve been there myself, however I can’t see the images you posted.
Not sure if you are having the same issues I was but after getting nowhere via any route I finally managed to activate this on a laptop rather than phone.
It seems EE are happy to sell phones, contracts and inclusive extras to their customers but then the same devices cannot be used to activate this product!
Since BT and EE are one company they should either be offering a fix, or access via a different route E.g. BT or a discount to enable you to source TNT sports elsewhere at no net additional cost. Problem is TNT sports is cheaper through EE than any other route so you’re effectively trapped unless you want to pay more.
By now these MUST be known issues in which case EE should be ringing the customers who have logged issues rather than having you call 150 and have you hanging around for hours on end.

So the images were -
When I text SPORT to 150 it says I already have it.
When I click through to activate (on my phone) it says "We are experiencing technical problems right now please try again later" and using Chrome on a Mac it says "sorry something went wrong please close and try again".
There's no point calling 150 because I've been through the whole process with them and they don't know why it doesn't work.

Mine is fixed Leanne, I’m just here to make the point that EE and BT being clueless and passing me from pillar to post over the period of a month with no fix, then texting to say my complaint has been resolved because they agreed to revisit the issue in a few weeks, leaving me to search through multiple EE and BT forums to find a solution of my own is frankly shocking customer service and EE should be recompensing people and apologising for the unnecessary time and hassle dealing with what should have been a 5 minute process from start to finish.
Doesn’t help that now I’m actually on Discovery+ the app is junk compared to BT Sport but I appreciate that’s not EE’s issue.
