Can samsung watch 30% discount be bought after a samsung flip 8 phone has been

I bought a samsung flip 8 from EE at the end of July. At the time I didn't add a samsung phone. Currently there is 30% off the watch, if purchased with the phone. Is it possible to buy the watch now and obtain the 30% discount?

I tried adding to my EE basket, however no discount was applied. I presume that the only way this could be possible is with a discount code (which i do not have)?

If the deal is you buy both together then likely not.

To be eligible for the discount on the watch, you must add both the phone and the watch to your basket at the same time. You wont be able to get the 30% discount automatically online if you buy the phone first and try to purchase the watch separately later. 

However, if you do add the watch now, you can still get a standard 10% multi-line discount on pay-monthly smartwatches added to your account.
