BT early renewal, so I get letter in the post

Bt ask me to renew early and if I have an EE mobile I will get a 30% discount on my bill and double data so I renew. Guess what I ask BT to apply the discount and they tell me I need to contact EE, so I ask EE to apply the discount and apparently they nothing about it and to go back to BT who once again know nothing about it. This reminder to renew early came in the post. Anyone else get this offer which reams impossible to redeem?

Have you text DOUBLE DATA to 150?

Existing BT Broadband customers joining EE on Pay Monthly SIM plan are entitled to a 30% discount.
