Are Freephone US Numbers included in the International 500 Minute Add-On

I read all the terms, and cannot see anything.

I need to call the US, and can only dial a US Freephone Number, 1-888 number.

Are those numbers included in the International 500 minute Add-On.?

My Brother is having problems with Vodafone as apparently the US Freephone Number is NOT Included in their Add-On for US International Calling.!

Historically, international 00800-prefixed freephone numbers were free from landlines but charged internationally from mobiles.

I suspect it would take a trawl of the T&Cs & price-guides to get a conclusive answer here.

International Freephone 00800 nos. are not included in UK allowances & are charged up to 40p / min on mobiles depending on what country they end up in.

However:

  1. This thread is questioning the International 500 minute Add-On, not the normal UK plan allowances.
  2. International Freephone 00800 is not the same as US Freephone +1-888 which the OP is enquiring about. I suspect it is included in the International 500 minute Add-On, as it is dialling a US no.
