Had 3 smart benefits removed by EE then get a text message that I can now access Apple One.

Is this a new thing from EE for the rest of my iPhone contract?

Hi @BrumMike

Welcome to the community.

Have you changed your price plan recently? Your inclusive extras shouldn't have changed without you requesting it.

Hi @Christopher_G

I also had a text saying

Hi David, as a Full Works plan customer, you deserve the best from your plan.

So, from today we're giving you all the benefits of Apple One, which bundles together Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade and iCloud+.

You don't have to pay any extra, and you'll have access to even more Apple services to enjoy from now on.

they did remove Apple Music as a Smart benefit as it's included in Apple One.

Thanks @Profile closed

What options do you have for your inclusive extras?

Here are the text messages that I received from EE. (Screenshots attached)

The Apple One service is now tied to my EE Full Works plan.

@Christopher_G still gives the option for Apple Music Office 365 the data pass & roam abroad pass.

I never requested any price change or Smart Benefit changes from EE.

I feel a bit aggrieved that I am no longer in control of my EE account.

Clearly its a change of EE pay monthly Terms & Conditions.

ADD-ONS
To get any of the below Add-Ons you’ll have to be on a selected pay monthly EE or EE Extra plan
and pass our standard credit checks. The cost of the Add-On will be added to your next bill and then
every bill each month until you ask us to remove it. We’ll send you a text to let you know when your
Add-On is ready to use. You can ask us to remove the Add-On at any time but we won’t remove the
Add-On from your account until your next billing cycle. You can have more than one Add-On of any
type on your account at a time but your allowance will only last until your next bill or until you’ve used
it, whichever comes first. Allowances don’t roll over. If you add the Add-On part way through your
billing cycle, you will be able to use the full allowance until your next bill.

I have had the same just happen to me.

EE text, removal of smart benefits without asking for the switch. Now have Apple One on my Full Works iPhone plan.

Same happened to me. I didn’t want to select apple one as I pay for Apple Music family and iCloud 2T storage, because I fear that the apple one will override my subscriptions and lose our years of playlists on Apple Music. After a lengthy phone call to be told there is an issue with apple, the  two lengthier chat conversations. There is no answers to my queries and the advisor kindly added Apple Music as a benefit which I clearly stated was one of if issues for not wanting to accept apple one.

Anyone else got any info on this?
