5g network ? credit check ?

 Hi, just thinking 5g would be minimal for the upgrade. 

 The reception, not service here is lowest and unreliable, disconnects frequntly, busy place.

Somehow I dont understand why I need an credit check. More to the point I could pay upfront, for a sim in this case, but why ask for a credit check after giving bank details, choosing a sim plan ect. Thats revolting .

 Trying to buy a sim for 5g Data only without a device is a supidly difficult experience.

Your website constantly tries to reirect to What  are you trying to do or want to do, ' e cant log you in at the moment ' , and are you a customer already . Not to mention ' log in to save ' ont' the sim purchace box when I already am .

I'm using a BT hotspot for today, for £7 , to get some fair reception .

 I have EE pay as y go mobile account for my mbb dongle, usb . Only 3g . Have to upgrade as 3g's now been stopped. i really need 5g . I have no hardwear problems, another usb stick or router thing can be found.

 So How do I do this ?  Credit check did not work.  I  dont need one realy .

@KCUP  Your taking out a contract so you are credit checked.   5G isn’t available to PAYG it’s only available to contract customers.   If you don’t pass a credit check you don’t get a contract. EE are not just going to give you a contract without a credit check as you are going to have to pay this for the duration of that contract.

Do you already have a mobile phone or SIM contract with EE? If not, logout of (or don't login to) your MyEE before going to the EE Shop to buy an EE mobile phone or SIM contract. It expects you to already have an EE mobile phone or SIM contract.

 Buying a Data sim , because  As your upgraging from 3g. I dont want old, I'm Buying 5g .

 I'm not inteested in credit check third person, sales or ' wos e got in is pocket' credit check .

The moneys there.  Waiting for Josh's plan, somewhere , EE account, Email , Text not during a phone call.

5G is only available to contract customers so if you want 5G you’ll have to be credit checked as that’s going to be a contract.    If you only want PAYG ( pay as you go ). Then you’ll only get 4G and you’ll not have to pass a credit check.
