@emiliab457 You can use your allowance as if you was in the UK while there. You can use up to 50Gb of data per month if your tariff has this amount or more. You just need to make sure roaming is enabled from with your EE account. You need to enable CALL ABROAD & PREMIUM RATE NUMBERS.

@emiliab457 Open the my EE app and click the 3 lines top left of the screen, now go to Settings>Roaming and enable both toggles there. You can do this now if you wish. Just remember that this will now allow you to call premium rate numbers which are chargeable.

@emiliab457 : Are you on contract or PAYG? You been told about contracts but if you happen to be on PAYG you don't need to do anything special if you are on PAYG as long as you've already used your SIM in the UK for calls or texts. PAYG is auto enabled for roaming.
You may use your usual UK Pack allowances there with up to 25 GB data per month if you have more.

50GB for contract if your UK allowance is more.
There is also a Stable Link Policy whereby you cannot spend more than 2 months outside the UK in any 4 month period.
