Hello I am travelling to America, I currently have an unlimited data contract, what do I need to do to keep using my phone abroad and not pay a fortune for it?

The Roam Abroad pass allows use of your UK allowances in the USA - see https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/roaming/roam-abroad-pass 

Regardless of what billing add-ons you may choose, remember to enable global roaming on your phone prior to leaving the UK - this is crucial to having access to foreign networks and thus having coverage outside the UK. Text ROAMING to 150 before travelling.
