international calling

I am on a pay monthly contract. How can I find out if I can make international calls from the uk and also make calls when I am abroad?

Welcome to the community.

If you text ROAM to 150, it will let you know if you're set up for international calling and international roaming. If you're not, it will tell you what to do to set it up.

That has confirmed roaming but the reply to the sms made no mention of international calling

This only returns information about international roaming, it doesn't provide any information about international calling (i.e., calling to other countries from within the UK).

To find out about our best add-ons simply text CALL and the name of the country you'd like to call to 150. For example CALL SPAIN to 150.

@LugusLuna : International calls & texts to overseas nos. from UK can be rather expensive but EE has a add-on, free on PAYG or £2 pm on contract, that anyone, on PAYG or contract, can apply for to give these calls & texts at a fraction of the standard rates.
