Hi all, I have a friend that has recently moved to Australia. We’ve been messaging via WhatsApp’s. To enable us to stay in touch.

i am right in thinking this is then free and won’t cost me?

WhatsApp is an internet-based app, exactly the same as any other app. Using it just costs the use of data over whatever you're using as the internet connection.

If you're using EE's mobile network to connect, then usage comes from your data allowance.
