Voicemail

I received a voicemail which I listened to and subsequently deleted - so there are no messages in my voicemail. However I still have a notification on my home screen that I have a voicemail. I cannot delete this notification from the screen - despite having tried the options given by voicemail

Call your mobile from another phone and leave a voicemail, then call your voicemail and delete it.

The notification should clear.

Thank you but unfortunately it didn't work.  I think I'll just have to put up with a minor inconvenience unless an expert in the EE shop can advise something else.
