I had a voicemail in my inbox, i tried to listen to it again later that day and was given the message "this voicemail is no longer available". I didn't delete it, so why would this happen?

It should be kept for 7 days after listening to it.

New messages are normally held for 21days, and if saved are kept for a further 7.

Was this message played immediately on calling your voicemail?

The message was around 2 weeks old i believe.
I listened to it a couple times but couldn't make it out. Went back half an hour later to try again and the voicemail inbox said "this voicemail is no longer available".

Bit of a weird one i know.

Hi @liam-43.

Was the voicemail from someone that you know or recognise?

Were you using visual voicemail or dialling voicemail?

Jon

Hi Jon.

No, not that I could make out.

I was using dialing voicemail provided by EE.

Best wishes.

Liam

Thanks @liam-43.

I'm not sure why this would happen, but unfortunately it's not possible to retrieve a voicemail once it is deleted or lost.

If you wish to keep a voicemail in future, it may be best to save it.
