Voicemail Issues

Morning all,

Ok, so I've moved from a monthly pay sim to 30 day sim only package.

Since then I've had no access to my voicemail to point callers don't even get a greeting.

I used to have Visual Voicemail on the pay monthly but I didn't think non monthly contracts could access. 

I've done the text VISUAL ON/OFF to 150 which appears to work correctly but no voicemail works.

I've tried VM ON/OFF but I get an network error, try again later.

anyone else had this problem and know how to resolve? I was considering resetting the network settings on the iPhone and seeing if that works

A SIM-only plan is still a pay-monthly plan with a bill.

Did you still want to use visual voicemail?

My understanding of the network-reset on an iPhone is that it's the device-level settings that get reset, not anything network-level. You'll lose any saved WiFi passwords, but otherwise it shouldn't cause any harm.

Cheers, not too bothered if it's visual voicemail.

I just need a voicemail service running , tech support claim it should be working in 10 days after an update is sent out ??? My wife's phone is on the same package and swapped same time but it's working fine.

Are you able to try the SIM in your Wife's phone and send the text to activate voicemail, does this work for you?
