Using my data abroad

I will be in Italy for a month and I was wandering if I need to pay to use internet abroad? 
If yes, is there a plan I can change my one with?

Are you pay as you go or pay monthly?

Both now require a roaming pass to be purchased to give you access to your data, calls and texts. 

Please see HERE for roaming in Italy.
