I’ve paid for a USA roaming pass. Arrived in
New York and can’t believe the phone is not working. Roaming is on. Phone is showing 4G and all the bars. Tried to manually change networks. When I turn off automatic it’s often just buffering. My husbands phone is working and was set up with the same pass. Arggghhh I’m so frustrated as need the phone for everything.

@Cugs141 , did you make sure that roaming, call abroad and premium calls are enabled on your account?

Hi @Cugs141
Is it data that's not working on your phone?
What happens when you manually change to another network?

Do calls and texts not work on these networks either, @Cugs141?
What phone are you using?
Can you restart your phone?

@Cugs141 : The Roaming Abroad Pass is just a billing add-on. It doesn't enable your ability to roam abroad. For that you needed to have texted ROAMING to 150 before you left the UK to ensure roaming is enabled on your account. If you didn't you now need to call CS to have it enabled.

As you have 4G showing and it is connected to a network it does sound like roaming is enabled.
What happens when you go to this link? http://neverssl.com
It will either work, redirect you to an EE roaming add on page or not work. This will help narrow down the issue.
I have also found ATT is the only network I could get working in NYC recently.

Called EE today and after 40 minutes they decided to remove the roaming pass and reinstall it. Thankfully it did the trick. Thanks everyone for the help ☺️
