My Samsung phone can receive texts but when I send them to an iphone they say they are sent but the iphone doesnt receive them.
The iphone receives texts from other Android phones. This seems to be an ongoing issue with EE network and it's very annoying

Which messaging app are you using.

Is this a problem sending texts to *all* iPhone users? Or to *an* iPhone user?
I would strongly suspect an individual iOS config issue if the latter. And if your phone says "message sent", that's a strong clue as to where the issue probably lies.

That's almost certainly not sending text messages, it's Google's platform in the same way as iMessage is Apple's.
I would suggest using the messages app to send text messages. Those work between all phones.

As per my previous post that hasn't been answered.... (check above at 6.31pm)

Thr iphone receives texts from other Android devices except the 2 I have with EE. I've spoken to the provider of the iphone and they could not detect an issue with that device. My signal with EE is shocking even when I've checked the network signal check and it says strong signal in my area

Forgive my cynicism, but I would take that with a big pinch of salt.
Further, your issue has nothing to do with coverage if your phone says "message sent" - this advice is self-explanatory. Just ensure you are definitely using the Samsung messaging app rather than Google, this will ensure you are sending SMS and not any proprietry format.

Hi @markstev27
I would disagree with @bristolian becase the Samsung messenger app is not the one to use, hence why i asked. Make sure RCS is active under settings in the google messenger app.
Also make sure the number you are texting doesn't start with +44 in your contacts and is saved as mobile because this can sometimes cause issues.
Sadly Apple imessage is a legacy outdated message system which is only just implementing RCS, however the google messenger app is the one to use.
Thanks
