Good morning everyone,
I need some help as I can’t use my sim card in Switzerland.
I have 4 g activated but no internet connection, and I can’t send or make any calls as they are barred. I’m not able to to send any messages as I wanted to buy £2.50 to activate it to use it for internet.None of them are working despite of having £15 credit. I am new to EE but never been explained anything, just been told that it’s all activated for EU and Switzerland.
Can anyone would be able to help asap.
Thank you

Using a phone abroad is called roaming, what matters is to have roaming enabled. Your post sounds like you're on PAYG, in which case roaming is auto-enabled after your phone is used in the UK first.
If roaming is enabled, then changing the local network you're connected to, often resolves connectivity issues.

The simcard had not been used in UK.
Never been explained that I need to activate before going out of UK.
Anything that can be done?

Hi @Cras2h
Nothing can be done. EE is a UK network hence activation needs to be in the UK. Roaming is a benefit.
Once you are back in the UK you can activate the SIM.
Thanks
