Slow SMS UK to Philippines

I am in The Philippines, staying until May 2020.

My bank needs to send me an SMS message when I transfer money from The UK to here.

The problem is that the one-time-password is valid for 10 minutes but SMS messages are taking several hours to come through to me. I am currently unable to access my UK funds.

Any help appreciated.

Have you tried restarting your phone? 

Are all texts delayed or just the texts from your bank?

Yes, I have done Reset Network Settings and re-booted.

All texts to my EE number are delayed.

Texts to my Smart(Philippines) account come through instantly.

Can you try searching for another network, is any others showing available? 

If so, can you select a different network and see if the messages come through?
