Hello @jq64.
Our roaming changes only affect those customers who have signed a new contract from July 2021, and travel abroad to Europe, from March this year.
As part of this change, Full Work and Smart plan customers can still use their phone as they would in the UK at no extra cost in 47 European destinations and five additional countries around the world, simply by adding the Roam Abroad pass to their plan, this also available to add as a30 day Roaming pass for £10.

Yes, EE intend to start charging for roaming in EE from March if you took your contract out after 07/07/21. Can't speak for other networks! Some do, some don't.

Hi @jq64 ,
At the moment only Virgin Mobile and O2 customers are likely to escape the charges: Virgin Mobile and O2 users will not face EU roaming charges - BBC News

Appalling.
I really dislike this company.
They're about as trustworthy as our current PM.
If changing weren't such a palaver, I would change to a provider that says what it will do and then sticks to it.

When you say use their phone as you would at home, do you mean calling UK numbers is within your allowance?

@Lexij192 : Yes, calling UK, & EU, nos. from the EU are included in your allowance.
