Roaming

I am travelling to USA between 1st and 18th February. I understand all I need to do is text Roaming Pass to 150 and for £10 I can use my usual package that I do at home. My question is, when do I send this text, do I send it just before I go, or can I set it up now to kick in on 1st February? Also, is this a one off for that month or will it continue taking £10 per month until I stop it. If so, how do I stop it and when? I would much prefer to phone EE and ask someone this but I just keep getting referred back to a text message and it isn't clear.

Many thanks

@KF400 : You send it from when you need it. It is now £11.40 pm.

The Roam Abroad Pass is charged pro-rata from the day you order it (text ROAMING PASS to 150) to the day you cancel it (text STOP ROAMING PASS to 150). You do start by paying up to the next bill date. Then in the billing month you cancel it you will get a rebate for the days after you cancel.

Remember to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave UK to ensure roaming is enabled on your account.
