Roaming in France

Hi - just arrived in France and don’t seem to be able to get any signal.  I’ve trained to join a local network manually with no luck, rebooted the phone etc etc all to no avail.  I didn’t text roaming to 150 before leaving the UK.  Help please.

If you have not activated roaming before leaving the UK you will not be able to connect to a network.
